Participant Liability Waiver

Participation in volleyball activities involves inherent risks. By registering for or attending any Bossley Bears Volleyball Club session, participants acknowledge and accept the following terms.

Assumption of Risk

Participants understand that volleyball and related activities involve physical exertion and may involve risks including, but not limited to:

Falls or collisions
Physical injury
Equipment-related incidents
Injuries arising from participation in sport

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in these activities.

Medical Fitness

By participating in club activities, participants confirm that they are medically fit and physically capable of engaging in volleyball activities.

Participants are responsible for managing their own health conditions and should seek medical advice if unsure about their ability to participate.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Bossley Bears Volleyball Club, its directors, coaches, staff, volunteers, and venue providers from any liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained while participating in club activities.

Personal Responsibility

Participants agree to:

Follow all instructions provided by coaches and staff
Use equipment responsibly
Act in a safe and respectful manner toward other participants

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from sessions.

Trial Membership Waiver

Guests attending sessions through the Introductory Short-Term Trial Membership acknowledge that this registration does not include player insurance coverage.

By participating as a trial guest, the participant agrees that they are attending at their own risk and accepts full responsibility for their participation.

Photography and Media

From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during club sessions for promotional purposes.

Participants consent to the use of such media by the club unless they notify the club in writing.
