Payment & Direct Debit Policy

Bossley Bears Volleyball Club operates on a recurring membership model. By subscribing to a membership, members agree to the following payment terms.

Recurring Membership Payments

Memberships for South-West location members are billed automatically on a weekly recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe.

By subscribing to a membership, you authorise Bossley Bears Volleyball Club to automatically charge the nominated payment method for the applicable membership fee until the membership is cancelled in accordance with the membership terms.

Membership fees are charged on a recurring cycle beginning from the date of subscription.

Sutherland Shire location members are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis only.

Payment Method

Members must provide a valid debit or credit card when subscribing.

Members are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain valid and up to date.

Members can update their payment method at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting the club.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails for any reason, the system will automatically attempt to process the payment again.

During periods of failed or outstanding payments:

• Booking access may be temporarily suspended
• Membership benefits may be restricted
• The club may contact the member to resolve the payment issue

If payment cannot be successfully processed after multiple attempts, the club reserves the right to cancel the membership.

Membership Commitment Periods

Certain memberships may include commitment periods.

Where a commitment period applies:

• Memberships cannot be cancelled before the commitment period has ended
• Membership fees will continue to be billed until the commitment period expires
• There will be a $150 cancellation fee if you wish to cancel before the commitment period expires
• Upon registering, we will grant a 2 week grace period where there are no cancellation fees.

Flex memberships without commitment periods may be cancelled at any time.

Refund Policy

Membership payments are non-refundable once processed.

Unused sessions, missed sessions, or changes in personal circumstances do not entitle members to refunds.

Refunds may only be issued where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Membership Suspension or Termination

Bossley Bears Volleyball Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership access where members:

• Breach club policies
• Repeatedly fail to attend booked sessions
• Fail to maintain valid payment methods
• Engage in behaviour that disrupts the club environment
